I went to see a re-screening of Spirited Away with my best friend/brother Damian earlier this week and it was fantastic ="D We've both watched it a million times over because it meant a lot to us as kids and growing up but like, we still really wanted to go see it in theatres so we did There was a move that separated us as children for the longest time, but I've always felt like Spirited Away was the one thing that always kept us connected in that time apart, until Damian was re-introduced to me in high school the partner of another amazing friend of mine, Meghan. I remember those first few weeks still, too. It was so weird having him back in my life back then after thinking we'd never meet again, and I can remember that all I wanted to do back then was talk to him because I had so much to tell him, but was too shy until I ended up sketching for him and trying to approach him that way. Needless to say it worked, and we've been best friends again ever since. Maybe even better friends than we once were. To me that whole situation though has always been proof we were meant to be friends and meant to stay in touch, and it makes me hope we'll never have to be separated again ✨ So yeah!~ In light of seeing the film again and having such a good time I drew Haku, just because 8D
