Although I dont really dig the thick bevel (for the UI), the craft and work you put in really shine through the screen. Wall works well with the accent colour, love the identity this has, similar to your last year shot, and overall just heck of a work for various things from miranda to potplayer to foobar..
A proper start to SSC and contender for the top prices for sure! I know you've been busy over there in England so I am just glad you managed to find time to create something so big.

There are some really interesting things happening here, the color scheme is gret [Well you maybe know that I love that shades of red]. Props for skining a lot of apps, all match perfect, specially the foobar looks awesome. The side captions on launchy and widgets looks great too. Dig the logo indeed.
The things that can improved are for example the inactive state of the caption bar, looks too flat with the rest of the GUI for that big bevel. I´m not a big fan of it to be honest. Other important thing are that all your skins looks very similar that your previous setups, that you just change the graphic style. Something more risky would have been great. I use that wall some years ago, but I don´t like it anymore, a flat wall maybe would match better.
Overall an excellent entry, put the flag high from the start.

Since its based the digital design collection i tried to be as faithful a could be, thats why the inactive is flat, the bevel is to popup the active state, but could be a bit diferent yeah, after the contest the suite going to be tweaked so changes would happen for sure

Nice shot Rissol.
Some points here.
- I can't understand if the light gray lines are a bevel effect or a just detail. but looks like bevel.
being a bevel, some adjustments on font poitions, maybe 1px down would give a better effect, centering it. (LS popus and address bars. - Color tone looks great. nice to read, easy to understand. Positive point here.
- Wallpaper selection. Fits very well to whole color palete. Nice
- You did the whole work. anothe big point. I hope you don't do this a "NFR", at least until the end of contest. WE want here a promotion of Custo scenary, so, be not selfish.
- Setup/arrangement - well, you did nice here. but FF is taking to much space on your screen. you did better ones on past.
- Foobar looks great. Simple and great
