" After" is the companion piece to "Before." It is one of the only abstracts that I have ever done. It started as a rough experiment and grew into a full piece with many stories behind it. I used beach sand, soy wax, and wild flower seeds to give it a textured, rough look and feel. When a viewer gets a closer look, you can see sentimental tokens mixed in with all of the others layers of paint, ect. I added a wedding ring, a toy house, a love letter, post stamps. and other things that everyone can relate to in one way or another. I want each person who sees this to get their own emotion from it.
