November is a month of last raining season. Well, also a month of the festival too.
You might have heard about Loi Krathong. It's a festival about floating a basket(?) called "Krathong" the river to apologize to the Godness of water for using water and hope the bad luck will go with Krathong.
Also, there's another festival in the north of Thailand called "Yi Peng" that will be floating a lantern to the sky for celebrating a full moon of the twelfth lunar month.

You wanna know a bad joke? Loi Krathong is apologizing for the Godness of the river. By polluting the river with a Bread, Banana trunk and Styrofoam Krathong.
And a Yi Peng lantern can burn the whole house down.

Yep, that's my most hate festival of the year.
