I make them in Photoshop, there are special PH styles and textures which I use for golden and glass effects

Cool! I have GIMP 2.8 on my laptop and it's very helpful for easy learning for graphics design. I'm a slow learner so I have to write notes when I watch peoples tutorials on YouTube so I won't forget how to do them later on. If I ever make a magical item for one of my OC's would you like to critique it for me? It would be much appreciated. I want to draw it to, were it matches her personality, kind of like Sailor Moon and her Legendary Crystal.

Yes, sure! Once you've bought it - it's yours and you are free to recolour, add details, use the image in your pictures and so on. The only rule is not to resell it.
