It's not a big surprise though. They used an important character and a background character from the show itself, not to mention the animation they made that basically contained a part of an episode. I'm honestly surprised it took them this long to axe it.

Anyone else notice that it seems to be the more high-profile fan projects that get axed the fastest by Hasbro? Button Mash and Fighting is Magic are both pretty huge names in the brony community, and now they've both been handed C&D notices by Hasbro. Meanwhile, more low-profile animations like Snowdrop or Dusk's Dawn seem to have been ignored by Hasbro. I guess the lesson learned here is that if you get too close to the sun, you're going to be sent plummeting into the ocean.
