I just couldn't resist, I'm not into ponies with socks that much, I just think they're sorta cute, but I just had to make this XD
This is just a WIP, though, it was originally going to be a big picture with four of the turtles, but it's not done yet and I couldn't resist, I had to post one at least XD I still have to do Donnie and Leo

excellent question! I'll actually be answering this in my ASK THE TMNP but I'll tell you
In this... um... "universe"so to speak, the turtles were DRAGGED to Equestria (via portal duh) and they woke up there in pony form. Their cutiemarks ARE their weapons because, well, it's their special talent, and also because Equestria HAD those weapons, but not anymore. They are very ancient and other two-legged creatures used them as weapons, and ponies knew about them, but couldn't use them (unless you were a unicorn but if you have magic why would you need a weapon right?)
So when they appeared in Equestria, they had their weapons. However, they CAN NOT use them. Unlike many other artists that make their turtles use them with their mouths or something, I personally think they would just disregard them completely until they go back to their world.
I know it takes a lot off from the TMNT we love, but it's just realistic to go this way....
They still learned new techniques with their new bodies, though! So it's just not like they stopped training and fighting or anything!
