Rin is on an early morning stroll through one of castle's gardens picking some flowers until later on she joins her husband/mate on his weekly border patrol of the Western Lands (don't you just love her outfit? ).

Rin is still the same sweet, loving and caring individual that she was when she was a child and through the years, she preserves her innocence but she does develop her own fierce and strong fighting spirit as well that in some ways could easily rival the ones of anyone in Inuyasha's gang. I think in some ways that will make her more interesting and also even more beautiful.

The weapon that Rin is carrying is called Hinukaku (品格 - flying dog bones) and it is a very powerful heirloom passed down through Sesshomaru's family. Hinukaku actually has a connection to Hiraikotsu and is the one that inspired its creation in the first place.

Before you say anything, yeah I know that Rin's battle outfit looks very advance but there is a reason for that and it once again goes along with a theory I came up with a few months ago inuki1.deviantart.com/art/Time... .

In retrospect, this is actually one of the many commission pictures to come of how I picture Rin to be when she gets older as I am sure her previous experiences with Naraku and who knows what could happen while she is in the village might cause her to indeed change and become a stronger person because of it.
