Description
I remembered my art teacher speaking of perspectives. How drawing from blurry to sharp, dark to light and big to small can help the viewer feel the depth of the painting. Hopefully some of those techniques showes in my piece. In other case, it was a nice time to study those techniques.

I started off with big dark blurry brushes for the background in the forest, clouds, sky and river, and gradually getting those sharp lighter edges in the final in the branches in trees, stars and waves.
