On the back side of the dropship, eight high trained infiltrators of the KSM Security Service were spending their last moments before the mission. Chatting. All of them were evidently Jako Shiks, belonging in particular to the "new line" Jako type of clones, a recently created line of production which had significantly enpowered the standard Jakos, and had also given them more decision making skills, more initiative and more ruthless attitudes, if compared to the ordinary Jako type of clones.
Some of them were already in full battle outfit, with masks and visors already worn, while the most experienced ones had their masks and visors still off, not wanting to suffer of overheating before that the mission had really begun.

- «It's a shame. I'd have preferred a smaller weapon. Why couldn't we use our standard SMGs?»
- «You didn't listen, during the briefing: we expect to find fifteen to twenty armed guards, there.»
- «Well we're not outnumbered and not in superiority. But we have the surprise. Silenced SMGs, garroting wires and knives, as usual in this kind of mission, should be enough, this time as well.»
- «We don't really know how armed they are. This is why we're using these ones.» another Clone said, giving a lovingly pat on her suppressed assault rifle. Actually it was a mid-way between a SMG and an assault rifle.
- «SMG or assault rifle, that doesn't make any difference. Shall we bet, girls?» another shik asked, smiling
- «For the gods sake, not again!» another shik protested, rolling her eyes
- «Are you afraid of losing? Come on. Let's bet» she insisted, and most of the infiltrators agreed
- «Okay, okay... same rules as usual? Wounds and almost-died targets don't count. Only confirmed kills, okay?»
- «This is a cleansweep mission. No witnesses, so "almost dead" targets wouldn't count anyway...» the squad leader corrected
- «Sorry to interrupt your fun, there, but we're on the target. Shut those mouths up, and brace for landing!» Alexa interrupted harshly from the pilot cabin
Suddenly silent, all the eight infiltrators hurried to put their masks and visors on and to do a final check of their weapons. The dropship made a rapid descent manoveur, and operated the rear rockets to brake in stationary flight a meter above the terrain. The side doors opened and the Alpha assault squad jumped down quickly.

Info about the setting:
- Nebulosa of Ots: is a galactic sci-fi setting invented by Shabazik , and part of the wider World-of-Aiers sci-fi and fantasy setting. Most of the setting lore is available on the official Aiers Wiki and lurking among hundreds of interesting artworks by Shabazik himself. What's interesting is that the Ots galaxy has a plentyful of undefined planets which can be adopted by any deviant who wants to invent and set up their own fictional nations or colonies, according to the existing history line and setting.
- KSM, the Korryn Shiks Matriarchy: A fictional nation invented by me within the Nebulosa of Ots sci-fi setting, part of the wider scenery. The KSM a matriarchal military republic, ruled by (female) clones. They rule on two planets in the Zur Star System, where they had set an (almost)independent nation after the Rebellion of Clones. - Achastia (Free colonies of Achastia) is a fictional nation in the Nebulosa of Ots, Devart Sector, invented by Achast . They're notorius among the colonies of the outer sectors of the Nebulosa of Ots, due to their slavery practices. They often kidnap, or buy by smugglers and corrupted corporate businessmen, stocks of clones, then re-sell them on the black market, as slaves. The KSM forces consider the Achastians as a "privileged" target for their sabotage missions.
- LCP: Paternic Free Colonies , a loose federation of independent nations and unaligned colonies, formed in the Nebulosa of Ots by a lot of small nations to resist the expansion of other bigger and stronger empires and preserve their own independence.
- ZTP-suits are the most used bodysuits in the Ots setting. They were initially meant only as underwear for people working in the deep space, as they provide temperature control and a basic protection from radiations and chemial agents, but they later evolved and became a kind of ordinary clothing, especially for mass producted clones. The most famous model is the ZTP-008 suit (lightgray with usually darker gray gloves and boots), made famous by the Kasparov Cia megacorporation, but they exist in many variants. Among the KSM women, they're usually colored to represent their roles within the heavily militarized society of the Matriarchy. The Rangers, the barebone of the KSM army, uses dark gray suits with black accessories, while the Security Service and the infiltrators in general use a full black bodysuit.
- Shiks are artificial humans (clones) produced in the mentioned setting. Actually "shiks" are properly said the clons produced by the Kasparov Cia megacorporation, but they're so popular that "shik" has become almost synonym for "artificial human".
- Jako Shiks are a specific class of clones, well know for their endurance, emotional stability and resilience to hostile environments. Usually employed for colonization and terraformation (Aiersformation, actually) purposes, as crew aboard long-term space travels and long-term works in deep space mining, as generic workers or all-purposes troopers (cannon fodder); the standard jako clones are also notorious due to their naivety and lack of initiative.
- Dreselandes the most advanced class of clones, superhuman under several points of view. They're usually the elites among the clones, both when serving under biological humans and when leading some of the "shiks republics" born after the Rebellion of the Clones. They're so well specialized, improved and trained that they're used even in command or high ranked administrative roles. They're the only "family" of clones who are proud of their artificial origin, indeed they rarely accept biological humans for reproduction: they usually choose other genetically ehanced clones or even artificial reproduction, in order to preserve their genetic advancements, and almost always they have some genetic trait clearly telling the truth about their artificial nature, like innatural colors on eyes, hair or skintone.
- "New Line" Jakos bootlegged versions of the ordinary Jakos, secretly developed and produced by the KSM scientists, in the double attempt of having elite level clones (but less expensive than dreselandesas), and giving them more initiative and more merciless inclinations. They're still experimental: they suffer a kind of adrenaline-addiction, genetically linked to the release of endorphines. And while they share with their ordinary versions a comradely feelings towards their own kind, they're less emotionally stable. The price of their improved combativity, strenght and agility is that their adrenaline addiction can often degenerate into bizarre, unpredicable, reckless behaviors and even sadistic impulses, which always need to be kept under strict control by their conditioning programs and a hard military training.
- Delmens are the artificial humans (clones) produced by the Klein Shine megacorporation. The KS corporation is specialized in robotics, entertainment industry and genetics, and it's focused on the production of female clones (and androids) only. From its ogigins the corporation is known for its efforts in making submissive androids and clones, often called "dolls", which are mostly used in the entertainment industry, night/dance clubs, brothels and for any kind of "domestic use", including servants and sex-toys. Their clones are usually more and more heavily conditioned and they are often implanted with control chips which ensure a better control on the clones' behaviors. As a result, the Delmens are more and more submissive and obedient than usual.
