Hidden with her back against the wall, near the corner, Alina heard the second guard coming. He was running, she realized, which meant he had likely heard some noises of the previous clash. She cursed, mentally, but anyway he wasn't aware of her, or he wouldn't have run that way, right towards where she was waiting for him. She calculated the distance, then when the man came within her range, she suddenly stretched her arm out and violently hit his throat with a chop blow.
The achastian guard bent down with a breathless groan.Alina could have waited for him to die, as she was pretty sure she had smashed his larynx, but she couldn't risk. Also, she couldn't wait for him to die by choking: she had made a bet with her sisters in arms, before that mission. She wanted to beat the record time for that class of missions. So she immediately hugged him from above, blocked his neck under her arm, then she slammed two violent knees to his belly. The first knee sank deep into his stomach, emptying all air from his lungs, and the second one harshly dug into his underbelly, violently smashing his nerve ganglia and causing him a violent shock.
The man would have fallen down on his knees with a grunt, and likely he would have died in a few minutes, if she had allowed him to. But she hadn't finished yet with him.
"After all, I can wait for the next mission, to beat that record..." she thought.

KSM Korryn Shiks Matriarchy. A fictional nation invented by me within Shabazik 's Nebulosa of Ots sci-fi setting, part of the wider World-of-Aiers scenery. It's a matriarchal military republic, ruled by (female) clones. They rule on two planets in the Zur Star System.
Achastia (Free colonies of Achastia) is a fictional nation in the Nebulosa of Ots, Devart Sector, invented by Achast
Shiks are artificial humans (clones) produced in the mentioned setting.
Jako Shiks are a specific class of clones, well know for their endurance, emotional stability and resilience to hostile environments. Usually employed for colonization and terraformation (Aiersformation, actually) purposes, crew aboard long-term space travels and long-term works in deep space mining, or as generic workers, they are also notorious due to their naivety and lack of initiative.
Dreselandes the most advanced class of clones, superhuman under several points of view. They're usually the elites among the clones, both when serving under biological humans and when leading some of the "shiks republics" born after the Rebellion of the Clones.
"New Line" Jakos bootlegged versions of the ordinary Jakos, secretly developed and produced by the KSM scientists, in the double attempt of having elite level clones (but less expensive than dreselandesas), and giving them more initiative and more merciless inclinations. They're still experimental: they suffer a kind of adrenaline-addiction, genetically linked to the release of endorphines. And while they share with their ordinary versions a comradely feelings towards their own kind, they're less emotionally stable. The price of their improved combativity, strenght and agility is that their adrenaline addiction can often degenerate into bizarre, unpredicable, reckless behaviors and even sadistic impulses, which always need to be kept under strict control by their conditioning programs and a hard military training.
