Description Not many of our local plants lose leaves in winter, but the Black Oak is deciduous. But with the first warmth of spring, the leaves will quickly grow and become massive large photosynthesis factories cranking out the oxygen and capturing carbon to use as the basic building-blocks of tree construction.
