Wowie! The first revamp + a new character. I didn't change much for good ol' Winter Shimmer, just made his hair make more sense and his ref in the newer style. Other than that he's pretty much the same. However I will be stating more details about him in his bio, since I've grown to just not care revealing ALLLL the info about these characters lmao. Might as well!

The poor, wandering boy who lost his mother young. With the unique ability to harness all things frigid and snowy with the tips of his feathers, he finds himself out of place in every place.

Name: Winter Shimmer

Nickname(s): Winter

Species: Pegasus

Gender: Male

Family: Night Glider (Mother, Deceased), Double Diamond (Father), Snow Glory (Younger Sister)

Talent: Harnessing cold magic through his wings

Personality: Winter Shimmer is known to be a quiet, somber sort. He can be rather unpleasant upon first meeting him, he is rather cold and defensive to strangers, along with being very shy. However if one gets to know him, they will learn he's just a sweet crybaby with a lone wolf sort of edge.

Relationships:

Summer Brilliance

Winter Shimmer and Summer Brilliance are near tied at the hip. They are best friends, and have a near brotherly bond despite being of different families. Summer particularly felt a special sort of connection to Winter, considering the similarities of their cutie marks and the fact Winter is a pegasus that can perform spells. Summer is the main reason Winter got into a prestigious magic academy in Canterlot, which is the academy Summer happens to go to. So they spend a lot more time together going to the same school.

Snow Glory

Being her big brother, Snow Glory was once one of the only people who saw her older brother's gentler side. He is quite protective of her, especially with the death of his mother. He doesn't like her having to do hard chores, so he tends to take them for her- at the price of her protesting at his heels.

Fun Facts:

His strange colored eyes and assumedly his abilities come from a magical accident Night Glider was involved in.
His magic ranges from the ability to turn water under him into ice, creating snow with the flap of his wings, as well as cooling the air around him.
The academy he goes to with Summer is pretty much exclusively unicorns, which makes it kind of awkward for him. Not any less awkward than his time in a Ponyville school though, he was bullied for his strange eyes.

Gender: Female

Family: Night Glider (Mother, Deceased), Double Diamond (Father), Winter Shimmer (Older Brother)

Talent: Growing flowers even in the cold

Personality: Snow Glory is almost a complete opposite to her brother. She's friendly, outgoing, assertive, and she stands up for what she believes in. She's very mature for her age, partly because of Night Glider's death. She was not old enough to remember her mother much, but Double Diamond and Winter Shimmer were pretty affected by the loss. She took up the job of lightening the mood and trying to make her remaining family smile, usually by offering whatever pretty flowers she can find.

Even though he is her older brother, she still kind of has the want to protect him as well. She does this mostly by staying at his side in public spaces, and anyone who even looks at him wrong gets a big nasty glare. Although her and her brother butt heads sometimes, both being stubborn as mules, they get along nicely most of the time. They enjoy teasing each other and drinking hot chocolate in front of a fireplace together.

Fun Facts:

Despite being just a filly, Snow Glory works at a flower shop in Ponyville. She does this mostly to make some extra money for her already struggling family, and she likes to use her talents to help older florists who might not have adapted to the changing climate yet.
She is actually quite strong despite her little stature. She can pull about as much weight as her brother can.
