Tokyo Mew Mew was a massive part of my childhood, and the second anime I ever watched, so I decided back in February I'd challenge myself to draw all the Mews by the end of the year! Let's ignore the fact it's almost June and I only just started o(--( this has been in my WIPs for months /sob

oohhh ok i never got a chance to see the japanese versionn :< so i only knew the eng version, but still one of the most earliest anime besides Card captors i saw saw as a kid

A lot of people didn't! I watched the dub for the first, but after looking for the rest of the episodes (only 26/52 episodes are dubbed) I discovered that the sub changed soooo much! Character motivations, actions, lines etc were so different to appeal to a more child audience. If you ever feel like watching a cute retro anime I highly recommend the sub~ uwu
