Description Another fun thing I got to revisit during Inktober 2018 was some of my old creations! A looooong time ago, I was a judge in a small Original Character Tournament called Creature League, wherein people got to make up their own weird animal partners. My Judge character had, like, five or six, because making up weird animals has been my thing since elementary school. XD I've always really enjoyed this one, and finally got to redraw it! I think the tail might be a little short? But I ran out of room on the page. Here's a little excerpt I wrote for it on my Instagram:

Excerpt from the Royal Palapian Bestiary:

"These powerful duck-billed creatures easily dwarf the elephant in size, and live in wet, swampy regions. Their widespread, serrated footpads are designed to rip up and pulp ground wherever they walk to spread their swampy habitats, and the bony blades on the tail act as both defense and a tool for hacking down thicker brush and small trees. They are mostly herbivorous, but are known to eat fish and the occasional large predator. Efforts have been made to tame these herd beasts for use in land-clearing, as they are relatively docile. But do not threaten a mother with eggs or young; she will not stay docile long."
