It's not important how cool you look to other people, only how cool you imagine yourself to be looking. It's really quite disappointing when the bestowment of superpowers doesn't feel as though it is giving off a befitting lightshow.

One more page to go in the intro! And then I have to actually figure out what's happening next, darnit. Oh well, this is only the test release, anyhow. This way only a handful of people will hate me for taking forever. (Not that I won't still feel bad about it, you guys are awesome.)
Btw, if you want to be considered for a cameo, speak up now. A lot of the comic is still in the planning stages and you never know what will work out, consdering how many backgrounds characters with superpowers I need.
And I'm certainly more likely to be pleasantly disposed towards ya'll who have been commenting.

You know, I actually came up with a superheroine with a power very similar to this! Her name was Conducta, which was a terrible, terrible superhero name, but I never could think of anything better. She had to be touching things, though; I may just go ahead and give you energy shots.
(I cannot promise when this will actually happen, but I love the idea and there's definitely a chance it will. XD)

Blazing red hair, and a slender but fit physique, male. I'll let you have free run over other details though I'd love a finger-twirling goateeΒ . I kinda based the powers off a couple of characters that I'd read about in recent book, can't remember the name but I'll post a reply with it.
Energy shots are cool, but I would love to be able to control the types of energy that are shot, i.e. light, heat, kinetic, etc. Don't worry about the names of characters, I used to have a gamer tag based off an old toy that I had, so it just makes it a bit more real-world when the name is a bit corny

XD Noted! I plan for any cameos to be different from the person they are based on, anyway; I want them to be their own characters, not just self-inserts. Makes it easier to avoid bothering anyone if I dont' get them exactly right.Β

Haha, don't worry about cameo details, they're your artistic interpretation, and hence subject to your visual representation.
I found the book author, Brandon Sanderson. He's got some cool skill-systems both magic and superpowered, so he may be worth a read for you. His Reckoners series is action/sci-fi, and his Mistborn series is part of a larger saga (yet to be written) that is in the same group as LoTR. Both are explained, Reckoners in-text, Mistborn has a wikia that explains the magic system in simpler terms in one place

I did some brainstorming last night that was very helpful! I have some general ideas of what strips to do next; the trick will be doing shorter strips like I planned with some more gag jokes, but still following a sort of continual plot line so people don't get confused.Β
And yes, shower-thoughts are the best. XD
