*dies* I took way too long on this. I decided to just upload the crap that I had XD I feel like It would look a LOT freaking better if Sullivan wasn't there... but meh. I wanted him in. So there.
D'ialia apparently took offense to being assigned to what she sees as a very menial task--moving herbs and minerals out from the tunnel systems of Shadow Tribe. Of course, she's still pretty weak and recovering from being drowned in MoonFish's lake, but she still thinks it's a sort of slight on her pride. She put up with it for awhile, but Al completely got on her nerves--there's a personality clash there. Anyway... I'm not sure if this is totally true to Al's character but I imagine he'd be not REALLY doing much of the work and would have a lot more fun ordering his warrior servant around. So D'ialia Ragequit, You get to see Sullivan doing a facederp and Al all like "GIVE ME BACK MAH SHIT!" And Aerio coming out of the cave and deciding not to get involved.
D'ialia's a good little warrior though, so she went back and helped them finish after clearing her head.
Assignment completed! Woohoo! I spent too much time on the freaking... rocks. And they didn't even turn out well. And I know the tree's shadows don't line up. And I didn't give the ground any texture. And anatomy sucks. And Sullivan's facederp is pure fail, even for a facederp. And the perspective is all off. DFSKGSDFLGSLFH But I couldn't work on this anymore XDDD so you get my fail. Actually the one thing I'm sort of proud with is the cell shading--it's my first time trying cell shading and I think it turned out really well on D'ialia, even if it doesn't look so good on Al or Sul. I also like D'ialia's glowyness xD

Yeah I did it with SAI, and yes I did use the lineart tool! 8D I'm getting good at drawing characters with SAI... but not so much the backgrounds. I'm glad you liked it 8D

xDD I've actually been debating getting rid of that lineart stuff. I feel like I'm starting to depend on it too much--and it changed my style too. I liked my PSE7 style a lot, at least what I was getting at, and I feel like I'm a much better artist now that I've switched to SAI but I wish I could still draw in my old style.

Holy apples, the cel shading did turn out wonderfully, Riv!! 0.0 I see what you mean 'bout the shadows, though personally I do find the rock wall nicely done. =] D'ial's great too~

The rocks are so amazing-- it sorta reminds me of a quarry, dunno if that's what you were going for, but I like it. (teach me how to do rocks like that plz kthnx XDDD) I like how they have a TEXTURE and definitive lighting.
And D'ialia is soooo gorgeous as usual <33 darlin' this is easily one of your best. I adore this. So much.

xDD I did take your advice. Your advice is never wrong. And actually yeah, I adore how D'ialia looks in this <3 and my rocks... though the shading is two different colors *headdesk*
And oh jeez... one of my best? I still think it's kinda crappy--I can see how much work I put into it, but it's obvious that I lost steam at the end.

I thinkt he trees and grass are the only things that could have used more detail. I mean one of the best as the anatomy improvement is awesome, and your coloring/shading skills have progressed very far. You're getting a lot better really fast. I'm so proud ;;;w;;; *gets tissues to dab eyes with loljk mebbe*
