Yes!: Oakheart and Bluestar actually had a 2nd litter later on, which contained Firestar. And, instead of taking him to Riverclan like his old siblings, Bluestar took him to the TwoplaceΒ just outside of Thunderclan territory and lets the kittypet, Nutmeg adopt him. Which is why Firestar is the only "kittypet" Bluestar ever allowed to join Thunderclan.Β
