I don't kid when I say he's a lovable hunk of metal. This guy is one of the easiest I've been able to bond with in pokemon amie. You rub his head once and five hearts come out. XD
But yay for shinies!

This is late, but mine was a Magikarp( I named her Goldi and she evolved into an awesome Gyarados(spelt it wrong probably)).

My first shiny was a sunflora that I ran into and almost didn't catch, but the stars that came from it made me catch it cause I was like "omg if must be special if sparkles come out!" I had never ran into a shiny so I was a doof and didn't know what popped up when a shiny did xD sad thing is I wasn't looking for the shiny... I ran into a patch of grass and it appeared and now I realize how lucky I must have been at that moment o.o

I actually only caught my first shiny somewhere in october. x'D RIP and i've been playing since 5th grade so that's... Eight years of pokemon? At least I caught one now. (Excluding the red gyarados placed perfectly for you in Soul Silver. I'm only including random encounters? ;3; )
