My friend and I were drawing tattoos inspired by traditional henna tattoos. I didn't have access to actual henna; it's all Sharpie.Detail shots .

Only a day or two. :\ It started to look bad as it faded, so I scrubbed it off, haha.

My mom always put henna on my sis and sometimes they made it all tattoolike but my mom uses herbs for it mashed and stuff then put on the skin wrapped bandages around it and leeft it for a night.

Mine did, BUT I got it in the middle of my back and he had to go over my lines 3 times because the lines were thick. It didn't hurt at all when he stopped though. My sister's tattoos never hurt her at all. I guess each person's a little different... And it depends on where you're getting the tattoo done XD;; I think that made me sound crazy lol

It's gotten really popular, but I was thinking of two tiny wings on my shoulder-blades. I think that that was one of the painful places though. >> Or maybe a tiny sparrow somewhere..

Actually I have 2 wings on my shoulder blades XD;; They're small and only outlined in a brown color to give it the look of henna. But my tattoo has alot of meaning to me, at least. I have a dream of being an angel and trying to protect everyone, kinda weird huh? So to remind me of my dream, and why I'm living my life, I got a tattoo of angel wings that I designed. They're perfectly placed so that straps from dresses and camis don't cross over it.
I think your ideas are wonderful! The sparrow idea is really interesting!

I had a Henna tatoo somewhat like that (c'ept alot less complicated xD) when I went to Sudan to visit family..but I kept smudging it cause I was little.
