That was the intended effect... But I'll give you hugs and a hot chocolate if you actually do? ;v;

How beautiful... In a tragic sort of way. I love the sentence in your comments fits the work amazingly. The ties thats are holding the heart look like heartstrings, it's a nice touch, your art is always so enchanting!

This is gorgeoussss! I really love the mood, and the limited colors you used...it all just works together so well. Is this based on something specific, or just the quote? It makes me curious!

"As flies to wanton boys are we to the gods; they kill us for their sport."
Mmm, mythology. I detect hints of Orpheus and Eurydice with a whiff of Persephone. MAXIMUM APPROBATION.
Hey, I was in Scotland this past week! Wifi was in rather short supply where I was staying, so I'm afraid I went and got you something without consulting you first.
It's a somewhat eccentric item. And I'll tell you right now that it's not reading material or tinned haggis.

You, madam, never cease to astound me. Unwarranted gifts? From across the pond?? I can't say I approve! (except I totally do). Ohmigod you are wonderful.
Tinned haggis? ...Tinned?

Tinned.
And did you know that you can get vegetarian haggis, also in a can?
It seems to me like that completely defeats the purpose of a dish that's famous for being made out of gross animal bits, but what do I know?
Also there was haggis pizza in the supermarket.
But we're not that brave.
OF COURSE YOU APPROVE. EVERYONE LOVES GETTING PACKAGES IN THE MAIL!

Orpheus? Man, I love this - the background, colours, lines are all so elegant and I wish I was not so tired so I might actually have something intelligent to say.

Awesome! I've always loved it, for similar reasons, but I admit I don't know the opera. Then again, I don't know much opera in general, alas.
