But yeah, gotta love the colors (I could never get it as sharp for some reason) and um... I want his hairstyle! *rips off Dimitri's wig and runs, claiming it for her own!!*

yeah its kinda disappointing when you put **MUST FULLVIEW** and you see less then a quarter of people actually looked at in in fullview. . .
as far as the colors. . .its all about using hard brushes on 100% in the right areas i guess.

... My hard brushes ended up crappy though. xD I'll try, nonetheless.

yeah, play with those hard brushes. if you don't already, you can use the number buttons as quick keys to very your brush opacity. thats how a large majority of my work is done

On opacity.. okay, I did try that before, but wasn't sure if it looked right.. but you said it does, so that means I gotta try again!

one of these days i'll make a tutorial. . .it's just that i suck at explaining things. But i use ocacity alot to blend things rather then smudging. not that smudging is bad. its sort of like shading with pencil, except alot easier?

Yeah, I've remembered once I tried shading using opacity, but it looked like dried marker to me.

yeah i always try to full view artwork .. especially if its complete like this.. its kinda annoying when i've got drawings up like the train that got downsized to about 2 inches wide on the screen... , and i see that a lot of people didn't even bother a full view... uh.. anyway.. enough ranting heh.
i love the darkstalkers charecters.. games.. etc. i'm dissapointed that the recent arcade perfect collection isn't going to be ported to the states.. or at least thats how it was last i heard.. and even though the creator of guilty gear loves the DS charecters.. and was going to port them into a high rez sammy vs capcom title.. it appearently got canned. .. heh.. there i go ranting again, .. so uh.. on to the artwork.
i'm always impressed by how bold and concise your line work is.. very adept..
your color pallet is about perfect for the proper mood.. and that castle is a VERY nice touch. the coloring on the red of his abomen really stands out nicely as well.

thanks for the kind words. It's good to hear people appreciate simple line work on characters. It leaves me with more options when i go to color it.
sammy versions of DS characters would be the BOSS, thats too bad it didn't happen
