Details:
The Wendigo hunts in packs of six and in rare cases seven, the alpha often allows the betas to pin down the target so that it may deliver the fatal blow. In most cases their hunting patterns are no different than a pack beowolves, until members of the beta pack are killed off, at which point their tactics become far more advanced. This is due to the fact that the Wendigo share a hive mind intelligence from the alpha. As the numbers dwindle the alpha itself begins to gain the ability to mimic the screams of its prey, though distorted at first the voice becomes clearer and more accurate with the more intelligence the alpha regains.
