Oppugnasaurus (meaning ‘siege lizard’) was a herbivorous retrosaur that lived during the mid Cretaceous period. It lived in the same environment as a few species of pack hunting Tiny Tyrants that saw them as a bountiful source of meat. Oppugnasaurus fought back ferociously for a plant eater, using their long and flexible tail was used to defend itself, and could be whipped with enough force to K.O. a True Tyrant. Oppugnasaurs often bore many scars from past encounters.
