I love drawing in this new style, it gives the characters more life to them.I drew Yami as a demon, due to him being more of a dark figure since his deck mostly consist of dark beasts. He also has falled into darkness before. Plus the colors I always give him are red and black so that's why he gets to be the embodiement of evil in this pic.
Kaiba gets to be light for about the same reasons that Yami is dark due to his dragon deck and that there is good in Kaiba, but he doesn't show it often. Plus his colors are silver(white) and blue.
Weapons are your typical for them, a scyth for Yami and a bow and arrow for Kaiba.
The moons are just there are accessories, no real meaning except that Yami's shows sun set (the moon is raising up) and Kaiba's is sun rise (the moon is facing down)

This art-style makes them look their age---that's the first thing that came to mind. The picture overall is very pretty with the colors and everything else.

Wow this is fricken amazing! i love them both! The wings are fantastic especially Yami's i love the colors and the shading. I'm with you Yami makes a sexy demon, though Seto makes a good angel too.
I love Yami with a staff or a scythes. I see it as his weapon especially since he looks so hot with them. Ever since i saw him in Dark Magician and Magician of black chaos armor in capsule monsters Yami with a staff or a scythes is one of my guilty pleasures.

I love the job I did on this, espeically because I'm trying a new style right now to test my skills.
Any blade works with Yami, but the scythe is the best weapon, it always seems like a good fit for someone like him. Actually his Black Magician outfit in that series had a wand, but i think his Black Chaos one was the one with the scythe, but I could be mistaken, I haven't watched it in a while.
