Let's wait and see! I'm so excited on what will they do to these two post Adam's fight. I mean that excessive hand holding in vol. 6 need much more explanation !

I'm more Black Sun, but I admit there IS something cute about this pairing. As such, it's my favorite non-straight ship of the show and the only one I can REALLY see as POSSIBLY becoming canon. And IF it does become canon (I think there needs to be actual confirmation from the CRWBY or in the show, not just hints), then I'll support it 100%. After all, these two DO have a sorta bisexual vibe going for them. I wouldn't be surprised if at least YANG has a crush on BLAKE.

To be honest, I thought black sun gonna be canon since it's clear that Blake had a crush on Sun on Vol. 3. But post vol. 5 I feel like CRWBY decided to focus on Yang and Adam's narrative for Blake. And yes! I wish they'll give us confirmation whether it is really a romantic relationship or not.

We'll just have to wait and see I suppose. And even if the show ends without a definite answer, that's what fanfiction and art is for
I have to agree that for Vol. 6 at least, they mainly wanted to focus on the group learning more about the mission they're on and getting back their old dynamic with each other after all being apart for so long. Also, they most likely did want to focus on Yang and Blake repairing their relationship. Even with Yang's talk with Weiss in Vol. 5 and the real sweet group hug in the finale, it was clear the two STILL kinda had baggage and issues (mainly on Blake's end for feeling so guilty for leaving ALL her friends (but mostly her OWN INJURED PARTNER) in their time of need all because of her own selfish fears.) However, the fight with Adam and the song "Nevermore" showed that they were no longer going to let a literal and figurative monster like him dictate how they would live their lives. By battling and killing him, they not only repaired their relationship (the hand-holding and head-touching could be interpreted in numerous ways, after all. Now, if they had KISSED, weeeelllll… 
From what I can guess, Vol. 9 or so MAY have them go to Vacuo where SSSN is. There, they may focus a bit more on the Black Sun narrative like they did in Vol.'s 4 and 5. They may have Sun finally get the guts to really act on his feelings for Blake (maybe an actual lip-kiss or something). Or, have Blake finally decide to act on her true feelings for Sun and stop being so afraid of having another lover like Adam and show how far her determination and character growth have come since when she first met him (the kiss on the cheek in Vol. 6 MUST'VE meant something). OR, they could even have Blake talk to Sun about how while she MAY have had feelings for him in the past, she now has new feelings for Yang. Like I said, we'll have to wait and see.
