Description
All Pumpkins are Carved/Shaved with Woodcarving tools not painted. The black and grays are created from sharpies and pumpkin white space.My friends and I started a Pumpkin Carving contest in my home town which has since branched out and was held at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket Mass last year.
Here are some of the Pumpkins I did for my personal home display.

Now that's awesome. I'm always amazed when I see people carve a pumpkin like that. Much better than my 2 triangle eyes and a half moon smile.

Love this one! That's an interesting tech you're using I've never thought of darkening the positive areas.

TY! The key to getting the grays is by using a cotton swab with Goo Gone on it, but if you use to much it will take the Sharpie completely off and then you'll have to wait for it to dry before applying again.
