Marked by his fastidious behavior, or in other words, his difficulty of gaining satisfactory and pleasure (which can lead him to risks), Adelrich has a knack for experimentalism—he inclines himself towards new experiences within reason. While being experimental may grant him benefits, there are instances he overlooks, or rather, disregards the negative aftermath for the sake of achieving something beneficial. Thus, he has refined his instincts as an observant individual, keeping his eyes peeled at the setting of certain events to keep himself unharmed from discord, whilst attempting to gain success from a self-imposed task. He is a bold person who shows little to no hesitation to whichever circumstance he may be.
Nothing hindered Adelrich from becoming an aspiring person since he has lived a life with less pamper and pressure; at ease, he has unveiled his desire for his future without it being tampered by his granduncle's belief. His discerning demeanor has emerged from his early life with his brothers, as their granduncle treated them differently solely due to their few minutes of age difference. He believed that everyone has a right to be treated with fair judgement, not with bias nor favoritism. If ever people were against fairness, or perhaps if they were too firm with their negative perspective, he has tendencies of becoming assertive, showing no restraints in arguing with people for their unpleasant behavior and belief; unfortunately he could not easily prevent nor escape commotion once he has stepped into arguments. His slyness sometimes acted as his last resort, relying on tactics and sometimes deceit just to cease the fiery situation; in other cases, that trait of him is nothing but situational, such as when he just wanted to tease some friends or acquaintances.
Despite certain characteristics he possesses, Adelrich still tries to hold on to his courteous disposition, showing polite manners towards people he encounters, as long as they appear to be worthy of respect. However in some situations, such as facing someone of noble stature, he can be rather pedantic; for instance, he is pressured and overly concerned with formalism for him to appear as a spotless person, or perhaps just to painstakingly impress some people.

"A pleasant day to you, my name is Adelrich Bo, one of the three grandnephews of the adventurer, Garfunkell Bo. It was only recently that I have read about the news regarding the exploration of the island called Umeojin, which seized my attention. While only a few were chosen to take part in this exploration, I would like to take the opportunity to be one of those few. My years of experience in fauna research has given me adequate skills to be deemed qualified for this job.
For years, I lived under the household of my granduncle, who was recognized for his discovery of a hidden legendary treasure half a century ago. Though his fame and success were temporary, I somehow still view him as an inspiration. While I was in his custody, one of my tasks just involved going outdoors. While I am often exposed to the view outside the confines of my home, I began my fondness of animals; I always wondered what it's like for them to live with nature, without a single worry of going through overly systematic means.
Admittedly, I grew to like and love animals—they are unique in their own way, whether it may be due to their size, form, or even their capabilities. Their behavior interests me, such as how they act in a certain environment and how they interact with other living beings—either in a tamed disposition or in a hostile manner. In fact, they can be our dearest friends if a level of understanding and trust has developed. I have records of the animals I have studied, which I had for years, as proof of my work and passion. I am aware that the island of Umeojin possesses a lot of things we have never seen here in Seoshuu, the variety of animals there may be one of those. I am more than willing to offer my abilities to discover the framework of the island's fauna, in hopes of unearthing the mystery behind them and to learn how to coexist with them in harmony."
○ Full History:
Adelrich was born as one of the triplets of the Bo family, a family of nomadic elves. The time they were little, he and his brothers were left under the custody of their granduncle, Garfunkell, as their parents still hold on to their adventurous lifestyle. The three of them, born on the same day, but labeled differently by the elder elf. While his elder brother lived a life caged by his granduncle's expectations and his younger brother lived a pampered life, Adelrich was only treated normally—or sometimes, to the point he was not given much attention due to the seemingly obligatory attention the elder elf was giving to his brothers. He felt quite lonely because of the lack of attention given to him, but the heavy feeling didn't last long thanks to his brothers' love and concern for him. However, it didn't keep him from feeling the loneliness once again.
While his brothers were given their own tasks, Adelrich was given some "leftover" tasks, sometimes he was just asked to assist either of his brothers in their chores. Adelrich didn't know what to feel, he didn't know if his granduncle even cared about him, but then all he can do is heave a depressed sigh everytime he is treated as nothing but a side character. The routine appeared to repeat itself as time passed, until he decided to spend most of his time talking to the animals nearby. Not to the point of losing his mind, but rather, he thought he should share his feelings to someone... or some creatures perhaps; he couldn't say a word to his granduncle since he fears that he may scold him, nor to his brothers since he didn't want to bother and hinder them from doing what the elder elf wanted them to do. Initially, he felt absurd for entrusting his feelings to a bunch of animals rather than his own blood relatives, but the more he did it, the more he started to love the animals as his dearest friends. It was like they were exchanging information with each other, like how friends would after a bittersweet day. While the animals "learned" about him, he had learned a lot from them in return. He noticed how the animals had some sort of ability to directly understand the feelings of others, even some hints of the animals trying to somehow communicate with him, which he assumed that they were trying to cheer him up. It piqued his curiosity about the animals and soon did further self studies and observations about their behavior.
The time he was 20 years old, his granduncle had to let them live their own lives, believing that they're old enough to handle themselves. He felt that their independence would mean more opportunity to enhance their own skills and capabilities, hence he felt grateful. However, it meant that he and his beloved brothers must part from each other due to having their own calling. Adelrich began his own journey by seeking for any fellow fauna researchers to work with; he even went through years of training for the position before he officially became a fauna researcher. At the time he attained enough experience, he finally began to work alongside his fellow fauna researchers. Some were impressed since a few of them knew the story of his granduncle, believing that the Bo family must have a good reputation. From that day onward, he has made significant contributions to the study of the fauna, particularly about the preservation of the animals' existence and the boons and banes they possess that affect life. One day, while he was on the middle of his work, the news regarding an island spread; which would need a few chosen people to explore the island. He thought it would be a life-long fulfillment of his dreams, thus, marked the day when he stood up and seized the rare opportunity—the opportunity to lend his skills as a fauna researcher for the benefit of a new discovery, and the benefit of proving himself to be more than what some people thought he was.

"Exploring such a wonderful yet mysterious island is a rare opportunity everyone will certainly take. While all may apply for the job of exploring Umeojin, only a few will be chosen. I wanted to explore the island in hopes of breaking the boundary of curiosity. I am a person fond of learning, especially information that involved animals. Most may see this as exploring an island, but to me, it's like exploring a whole new world—just imagine the diversity of life there! It's in everyone's nature to seek extraordinary experiences that were never grant by the world we stood in. Moreover, I just wanted to be more of what I am now; I wanted to achieve something big from the exploration to make my family proud of me. I wanted to do it for my brothers. - The tattoo on his cheek is a somewhat stylized(?) letter "A", but rotated 90 degrees to the left. This was his granduncle's way of telling which is which among him and his brothers; his yellow hair streak is one of his distinguishing features besides the tattoo.
- He uses his glasses only when reading, especially when reading small scale text.
- Due to his past encounter with dangerous animals, he began improving his physical dexterity so he can survive and flee from these kinds of animals.
- Ever since he developed some mutual feelings with the animals he met along the way, he began averting a little bit from eating meat.
- He is somehow more confident in teasing people when he's with his brothers.
- He is the younger brother of Tim and the older brother of Ieremias (by minutes, since they're triplets).
- The story of his granduncle is what retained his obedience to the elder elf, also one of the things that drove him to carve his own path. Despite the lack of attention given to him, he still has some respect towards Garfunkell, after all, he was the one who raised him and his brothers.
