Description The Basque Railways (Ferrocarriles Vascongados / FV) ordered two classes of Engerth "Mogul" 2-6-0 locomotives, which were among the most common meter-gauge locomotives in northern Spain.  FV 50 Euzkadi (Krauss, 1914) could produce 870 horsepower, an improvement over the 640 horsepower of the earlier Easo class, and was followed by FV 51 Zuria in 1914 and then after World War I by twelve more locomotives.  FV 56 Urko was displaced from the Basque main lines by electrification in 1926, sold to the Minero Siderúrgica de Ponferrada (MSP) mining company's Ponferrada & Villablino Railway (PV), and operated as PV 12 until the 1980s.  As the original FV 50 Euzkadi was scrapped, Urko was repainted and renamed as her elder sister by the Basque Railway Museum in Azpeitia.  She pulled the first train of the day on the museum's 25th anniversary festival, first taking the train out to Lasao Station before running around the train and returning to Azpeitia Station.
