The largest General Post Office vehicle displayed at the Amberley Museum in Sussex is 1935 Albion 30cwt truck CXN-247, which served the GPO engineering department in Gloucestershire as telephone linesman's general utility vehicle U8086 until 1950, when it was sold to a Wiltshire sawmill owner who converted it to a chicken coop and hay shed. After the Post Office Vehicle Club purchased U8086, they restored the vehicle, which ran again in 1971 and has since won at least two awards, one in the commercial vehicle class and one in the Albion class.
