Description
The Reading Railroad Crusader was a streamlined express train that ran between Philadelphia, Jersey City, and New York City from 1937 to 1981. This Lego model of one of the streamliner's first locomotives, specially-decorated Pacific (4-6-2) No. 117, is on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, which also has one of the observation cars from the original passenger train. In the 1950s, the steam locomotives replaced with EMD FP7 diesel locomotives and scrapped.Related content

I wouldn't have expected to see a Lego locomotive on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. I find it a wonderful addition. ^^ (And it's a nice design, to whoever built it! Clearly it's in the style of Lego's own Super Chief sets. ^^ )

I think that Lego should definitely make more steam engines. They'd attract buyers - especially if they were a historical or famous engine such as Flying Scotsman or Stephenson's Rocket.
