Description
Early in World War II, the Canadian Army acquired World War I-era M1917 light tanks (American clones of French Renault FTs) and used them domestically as Royal Canadian Armoured Corps trainers. A lucky survivor is displayed at the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa.
