Description
Back when I lived in Shizuoka City, Japan, I bought Tomytec's N-scale model of the Fuji Kyuko Railway Series 1000 Neon Genesis Evangelion-themed train at the Popondetta model railway shop. Car Moha-1207 is painted red and orange like Asuka Langley's Evangelion Unit-02 and the other car Moha-1307 is painted purple and green like Shinji Ikari's Unit-01, with no cars for Rei Ayanami, Misato Katsuragi, Kaworu Nagisa or other characters. It wasn't too long after I bought the Fuji Kyuko Evangelion train that I heard about the West Japan Railway Company's Shinkansen Series 500 Evangelion bullet train, which I missed seeing in person before it was replaced by the Hello Kitty bullet train. I still have this Evangelion train in the box, waiting for me to reassemble my layout.
