Description
Margaret of Anjou’s husband, just thriving and vibing as he should.
*Tired of hearing all those salty Yorkist historians telling that he was an impotent dummy whose wife’s “intrigues” made him had the breakdown. With Margaret and Henry the medieval marriage roles were reversed: She was the warrior / hunter / social butterfly, while he was the pious / chaste / merciful. And, also, I really doubt that their only son, prince Edward of Westminster, was a bastard sired by Suffolk. Though it is very known that Henry was, then again, a chaste and timid man, there are signs that he loved his wife dearly despite their differences, and I honestly don’t think she would have cheated on him with her bestie’s husband. And I want to say that, making cute fan-arts of historical figures from the war of roses being themselves doesn’t mean I am “team” Lancaster or “team” York: I just think all of them were humans and deserve more than being seen and good or bad figures *
