Fellowship is Magic!

Obviously a crossover between MLP and LOTR. I was bored one night and decided to assign everyone in the Fellowship a pony. I believe Sam had something to do with this, in revenge for making him leave Bill behind when they went into Moria.

Gandalf gets Princess Celestia of course, because they're both epic leaders.

Frodo with Pinkie Pie. Just because a combination like that is epic. She obviously doesn't seem to know what "Mordor" means.

Sam would have to be with Fluttershy. I don't think anyone else would be able to gain her trust.

The pretty boy and the pretty pony of course would find each other. Legolas and Rarity could probably have long conversations just on their own looks.

Gimli would need to be on Big Macintosh because he's the right size to carry a dwarf. But as we've seen before, Gimli's attempts at riding never seem to go great. "That was deliberate! That was deliberate!"

Aragorn on Rainbow Dash for the win! Hunting down orcs and unfriendly people, magic style.

I always pictured Twilight Sparkle as being a Gondor pony. If she could be in that big library (the one Gandalf studies about the Ring in in FOTR), I think she'd go crazy happy. So she gets paired with Boromir, the Gondor guy.

Merry and Apple Jack. He loves apples. She has apples imprinted on her rump. No further explanation is necessary.

And since poor Pippin is the youngest of the group, he gets the youngest pony. I'm not sure if I feel more badly for Apple Bloom for being stuck with a grumpy Pippin, or for Pippin for having his bare feet drag on the ground the whole way. But I'm thinking it's the former.
