Description
I was contracted to build and paint some large Wood Trestles for a private collector to display some very expensive (and VERY HEAVY!) high end brass locomotives in gauge1 scale. These were the only photos I could get on delivery day, Really hard to see the two black steam locomotives & tenders against a black wall in this photo! ...like photographing a black cat in a coal cellar.

I ripped all the wood strips on the table saw then built the bents in a template to make them all the same (only the heights are different). The final display case was about 80" long x 24" deep so there wasn't a whole lot of space for the footprint of the wood trestles to fit. The track is 1Meter LGB track.
