An illustration for my brother's birthday next week. I changed the colors for him since he's the type of guy who think pink is for little girls. I gave him a lime-green background, but I like the pink version better. Yes, I used pink even though the little creature is a «he». Real men love pink, no offense bro!

This is Paul, the family's pet degu (for those who don't know, it's a sort of big chilean gerbil). I visit my family many times a week so I still consider him 'mine'.

I never thought rodents could be so loving. He likes when we rub his belly or scratch his ears, he climbs on our shoulders, he gives us kisses, he even whistles when he's happy... I'm in love with this little guy, so are my brothers. They actually begged me to draw them «Paul-cards» for their birthdays. He's hard to draw, what did I get into!?!

He reminds me of a chocolate cupcake.
