Humm, I think the lighting problem is comming from the hair.
Just that top side of her hair seems too, stringy, or shade-less.
With your cell-shade-ish style I guess the best choice is to thin it out
instead of making the dark color reach all the way to the split in her hair. :b
I don't think this is finished so I can't be crit-ing too much on the coloring. XD;;
Though, if this is the main shading then you need more on her clothes.

I think it takes a lot of skill to produce such a natural pose.

yes im still learning to colour her hair, there is problem with it, i cant imagine how to make it thin, you mean make the shade as small as possible?
and yes it isnt finished and i dont think i will continue it...
and i was trying super hard to imagine a girl in what u call natural, maybe some flash back on seeing one of those couple dating i see in a park XD and yes she is actually a cut picture of a couple in a park talking (it look more like courting XDDD)

It's more evident in the guy with the glasses, but see how that darker shade comes into a point instead of reaching up all the way? o.o
Har, actually this isn't that good of an example. XD;; But the best I have for cell shading right now. :B
Though in truth, the best way to learn is from reeal life, just take some pictures of real hair and practice with those.
Find out how hair shines and stuff. :d
