Our moon was fully eclipsed by the time it rose here so no red moon

Ah, I see. Yeah, it was only the eclipsed area of the moon that was red, so it must have been a bit disappointing if you missed it.

Yes I will try again. I've seen and photographed it before at least. I should look into getting a teleconverter maybe so I can get a closer shot
