Going to be posting a fair bit of this guy in the future, because he's awesome.To answer your questions: No, I did not photoshop his eyes. This guy had a bacterial infection in his eyes when he was younger, and it resulted in the fluid in his eyes becoming cloudy. Unfortunately, though they were able to treat his infection, the cloudiness doesn't go away, and as a result, his pupils have dilated to allow more light in and help him see. What you're seeing is eyeshine from light bouncing off the tapetum lucidum behind his retina in the back of his eye. It's the same reason a cat or dog's eyes might glow if you take a flash photo of them (not the same as red eye in humans though).
tl;dr - He's fine, and he can see, and his eyes kinda glow by default, which is wicked.
