Oh wow, this rocks! It's seriously cool that you managed to do all the classic Frazetta tropes - Conan cleaves through his foes, bad guys falling backwards, very underdressed lady - without doing the Frazetta triangle composition. And motion, with Conan charging forwards rather than standing there being grim!

I have Solomon Kane at home that I have not read yet. I love that guy, more of a darker hero...but he is super religious...weird huh?

He was a unique guy. When you get a chance, watch "the Whole wide world" starring Renee Zellwiger. It looks like a "chick-flick" romance movie but it is all about REH and his relationship with his girlfriend who was a schoolteacher. The movie covers his death as well. Very sad, but you get a feeling of how eccentric he was! I actually got the movie for Christmas as a gift.
Soloman is as badass as Conan, but more of a "thinking" reserved man than a wild beer drinking, womanizing, warrior.

Since I think that Conan was quite intelligent and an "anomaly" compared to other Cimmerians who prefered to stay in their hills and mountains then Soloman must be really intelligent.

That is a beautiful painting. I really like the blunt motion sense of the characters, reminiscent of Frank Frazetta's work. I also really like how the lighning wit a bit if subtlelty guides us to the focal point of the painting, Conan, the cornerstone over which everything manly stands. Awesome painting.
