I know...isn't that a bummer? all those guys were around my grandpa's age! Jack is still going strong. I love that guy!!! He inspires me, i wish i knew him.

True that, green apes are scientifically shown to be 85 percent cooler than normal color apes. And you can't argue with science.

I've loved him since I was a little kid and would see his work in MAD, but as a Georgia boy, he's got a special place in my heart for his work for the UGA Bulldogs and he lives down on the coast!

He did some work for a cheese company up in my neck of the woods as well...I was so honored that a local company has a Jack Davis drawn ad! That man is a god!!!

My favorite work of his is his classic EC comics work!

Yes... I agree...not in style but the ape was kind of inspired by one of his cool apes! I was on a huge EC comics kick when I painted this. I love that stuff!
