Description I'm not sure if I had it out for Traveller Fat Traders, or if the illo. specs really called 'em out, but I seem to have done my share of "trashed and drifting" renditions of the craft, back in my RPG illo. days.

I think I'm about to start a wave of "old, scanned work" to get me through my creative dry spell. Stay tuned!!!

Very cool model. Love the 3D treatment in PS.
You rally should do it again on other old drawings.

Well almost all have been tweaked to some degree

A totally off-the-wall question this, but... Looking at the underside of the tail end there, is that box section between the engine nozzles meant to accomodate a cargo ramp? A roll-on-roll-off feature for those low tech boondock ports, where the Miracle of the Forklift has yet to arrive?

Β

Regardless, this is a wonderful illo, and from an angle nobody really expects!

If I knew, I've long since forgotten.... so I'd say just go with what makes sense

You have poked around this illo quite a bit from the original, haven't you? Shading and all that? Looks awesome. It just screams "Come and loot me!"

Erm. Did I just reveal my characters usual lack of moral fibre there?

Yup - I "massaged" this one quite a bit. Even just the crop and rotate disguise its origins effectively.

Just what I was looking for to complete (or rather go on with) me work on the Fat Trader fav.me/d6bngq5 (for the ventral surfaces can't be seen often). Thanks for sharing

I think Tom Peter's said the same thing. I didn't remember breaking new ground here?.... but maybe I did?

Maybe because just about anything Traveller related, that you shared from your stash of art is either official canon or being recognised as such by default. So a new (or rediscovered) view is always feed for the herd.

A valuable modelling reference at least.
Thanks.

Awesome Β They seemed to be the perfect ship to wreck. Β A few decks to explore... nice, large hold for the ominously spooky cargo if desired. Β Best example of course is Chamax... great starting locale for that classic

Well.... that's the real nut of it, huh?
Maybe the cap'n just needs to give it some "Solo Lovin'" and bang on the bulkhead?

Better hope for the best.

Had someone try that one time, relativistic calculations for time dilation were not a lot of fun Β  My suggestion was just abandon that campaign and get new characters

Hey now - the calculation's not THAT bad.

yeah but I think it was 100-odd years objective time,Β Β  hard to work with,Β  even though some characters were computing back pay that long
