Wonderful! The Starfleet Museum had a flair with pre-TOS ships that ST:ENT just could not match. I think these ships would have been more impressive on TV.

Oh yeah, if only!
Well... in MY geeky, stubborn mind this is what that era looks like. I think the Museum guys were divinely inspired (by the ghosts of the Great Bird and Matt Jeffries).

I know, right? I actually squealed with glee when I saw the "Little Nell" warp testbed vehicle on the Starfleet Museum site.

Personally I wish this was the prequel to Star Trek instead of Un-Enterprise....
Ah well...excellent image - as always.

Hm. It might LOOK huge, but it's really nothing special. What makes you say that. Maybe I can get to the core of your comment and add some enlightment?

beltminer In reply to RobCaswell [2013-02-04 20:44:07 +0000 UTC]
sorry, when i said huge i meant as in great or phenomenal, but the detail in the hull texture does add to the illusion of size. i still remember years ago all we could get was a dog eared copy of the star trek technical manuel, the one with the dreadnaught design. man those days are gone. anyway i don't think you need any further enlightenment, your stuff is doing the enlightenment. anyway the core of the comment is the image is awesome, another arcas compositional clinic.
thanks for the schooling.

Holy!....Next to Traveller, this is the best Sci-fi series ever made.
Its not brilliant in Visuals, but plot and character are superb - and the ending - the ending is ledgendary.
Please seek it out. Its one of those jems that makes life worth living.
