You know, if they wanted one of Captain's Sparrow old flames as Uhura, they should have picked Naomie Harris instead.
She would grow to giant size and step on Nero and his Romulan army.

Love your pic and the movie. You will not be disappointed with the it. It was far better than anything Star Wars has come out with in the past few decades.

I approve man. I'm a DIE HARD Star Wars fan, but I'll gladly admit Star Trek was a great movie. Another great piece of art.

My Lord, this is as close to perfect as coloured-pencil Trek fanart gets. I think Zoe Saldana is great as Uhura and you've just about encapsulated her essence in a technically stunning piece. Faved, and oh, may the fo...I mean, Live Long and Prosper!

Love the coloring in this! And I've heard only good things about this film, so I'm excited. Not a trekkie, but the idea intrigues me (the prequel, how it all began idea I mean).

Nice drawing, I just saw the movie within the past hour. It was awesome.
and as a Star Wars fan, I feel fairly safe in saying that this SHOULD fill that void for you. I know it just did for me.
Live Long and Prosper

Rob says:
"Oh boo hoo. George Lucas doesn't love me no more! And I'm too petulent to read any of the extended univers comics, watch the Clone Wars show, or partake in any of the awesome Star Wars crap that isn't completely controlled by the stumpy Vienna sausage fingers of George Lucas. So now I have to pretend to be a Trekkie after I watch the newest Trek movie, which most Trekkies have pointed out looks nothing like Star Trek, but that's okay. Because at least Star Trek doesn't have George Lucas, who makes me cry because I'm a little girl with sand in my vagina."

Rob is a total Star Wars fan. But lately I've been trying to get him to watch the new Star Wars show "Clone Wars". I even gave him a disc with three episodes on it. But noooooooooooo. Rob hasn't watched it yet.
He is such a nerf herder.
