Considering the art style, it's nice and easy to tell the emotive state of the characters. (Though it's generally between being furious and depressed; this IS a crapsack world after all xD)I like to think that this particular moment is Kenny realising that Episode four most likely won't be out until late november or december. How much longer must we all wait!?!

MAY have died. You know it wasn't specifically shown, and he legged it left out of sight after he "saved" Ben. There were nomming noises, but that could have easily been the zombies getting some still-warm Ben in their diet. (Assuming you saved Ben in episode 4, yar)
No, usually in a zombie thing if someone's thought to be dead but isn't definately shown being killed, they're usually alive rawr. I think we've not seen the last of Kenny.
Whether he returns next season as a zombie or a person though...
