I love the wire leading up to the subject and really drawing you in. The brilliant white background and over-saturated look is used a lot now adays but here it's spot on, helping the colours of her clothes to really jump out. I also like the way the image is cropped, making it look like Hayley is crouching, not only to pose but to actually keep herself inside the frame.

No problem. How much editing did you have to do to the image afterwards? I was after a more pure white background when I last did some studio work at uni but I didn't have much time to do it and the background was more yellow than white. Thankfully I was intending to maniplate the images anyway to create a series based upon the seven deadly sins so I didn't feel too bad about PhotoShopping the backgrounds.

i been thinking about doing something with the seven deadly sins for a while maybe its not such an original idea ..o well ....ok with the studio shotting i think it's a case of practice and experience i remember when i first started to bleach the backdrop i was getting pinks from somewhere the only manipulation with this series was contrast in curves and a bit of layering

I mainly dodged the backgrounds to make them more white which worked well but didn't really look as authentic as your photo here and the other similar ones in your gallery. I'd love to do more studio work, I've never really done anything aside from little excersises with tutors around to help. On the subject of the seven deadly sins, just because something might not be all that original doesn't mean you shouldn't try it out. The seven deadly sins are a really good excersise I think for thinking outside the box and especially if they aren't such an original topic. Afterall, if you can do something that nobody else has seen (and everyone has seen something involving the deadly sins) yet still put the idea across then that's all the better.
