Beautiful! I think you could add some kind of distinction where the right ear meets the head; it's a little abstract, and the rest of your piece has such lovely detail.

yeah, i liked the arches! it's a bit tricky to start with, i had to figure it out a bit, but it's nice
it's really stiff too, which i like a lot.
it is very sad actually...this horse got impaled on a fence and died a few months ago

i went to high school with the girl who commissioned me and it's her mother's horse. she had two horses(one now) and i take care of them too, so it's like...a small world kind of thing haha. but the daughter seemed pleased with it, so yay!

Sure thing, I have two quite similar bristol boards, so I'll send you one of each, my fave is Windor and Newton, but Daler comes pretty close and is easier to get hold of too
What about the Mellotex, it's my fave fave, you want to try that too? I think you would like it
