i know you didn't ask for a critique or anything, but i noticed you have alot that isn't right with the sword. was it an after thought or maybe you had a different idea for it before? anyways , it seems like the blade is crooked and the handle doesn't match up in direction of being held and the handle doesn't match up with the hilt of the sword either. just some things i noticed. i do enjoy your style quite abit. it just seems like you were impatient with this piece in particular.

I wasn't impatient I spent over 12 hrs from start to finish on this, sometimes a piece doesn't turn out exactly like you hoped it would, I could have gone back and redrew the entire piece but I conceded to myself that it was some thing I could learn from rather then dwell on as 90% of people didn't seem to care. I' d be careful of your choice in words before you offer "critique" I don't ask for it because either my work sells or it doesn't , anything beyond that I give myself plenty of hell over whether I vocalize it or not to the public. I have 27 more of these to do, you pick and choose your battles.

sorry if it came off as offensive, that wasn't the intention. meh, consider me part of the 10% who did notice it then.
I'm sorry you've taken it so personally.

I didn't take it personally lol really this is why I don't chat via text too often and leave these conversations for the podcast, I don't like reading "into" peoples words and vice versa. The "impatient" part was annoying but whateves, it annoys me that I didn't go ad ix it, but having completely recolored an entire cover this past month for the exact same reasons, I chose to let this one go. Live and learn.

i understand, i know you can make fixes like that with photoshop, i've watched other artists use the selection and cut tools to maneuver pieces and then just fix whats been uncovered. i'm sure it could be fixed from some skewing and moving of pieces. maybe something to experiment with when your not super busy. i'm really just trying to be helpful.

No, no there is no way you can skew it or tweak it, its bound in the perspective and construction, if you check the real time video of me drawing this on my You Tube channel you'll hear me talk about it as I drew the sword. I'll prob fix it tho as I don't like little things like this to get in the way of an entire piece. thx.

i really like the usage of the highlights you've incorporated , the second light looks really nice. and the master sword looks amazing. i have to admit as i've been looking at more of your work and what you do , you've inspired me. if you don't mind i'd like to tag you when i upload a piece and get your opinions. that is if you have time. you're a busy guy.
