Description A recent effort at the Orton Effect. Comprised of 16 exposures altogether, and one secret recipe enhancement layer. Combination of focused B&W images and Fuzzy color images. Manually layered into an HDR type thing.

I'd really like your thoughts on this one.

Excellent photo. The technique you used sounds very interesting. It has great depth. Very nice combination of lines and curves, and the lighting is perfect. The ceiling lights dissect the photo at just the right angle. They lead into the photo and the eye tends to follow that. The colour you have achieved here is almost a pseudo-sepia tone. An excellent touch. The combining of the black and white with the oof colour adds a nice texture to the shot as well. My only quibble, and it is not a critical point by any means, would be,,there seems to be just a little too much floor in the bottom of the shot. A slight crop to just below the first beam would eliminate this. I think this a remarkable photo, with much thought and effort put into it and I would be happy to have this on my wall. Very well done

Thank you so much. THat's one of the most in depth, and nicest comments I can remember. I appreciate you taking the time. I was working for a while on tryng the Orton Effect by using one exposure and Paint Shopping layers from it. BUt at some point I decided to try it the old fashioned way and use the camera for each image for each layer. More of a true HDR, and optical rather than digital blur layers. So I was REALLY interested to hear some thoughts on how it turned out.

So again, THANK YOU.
